Heya AJak. Played with you here and there when you dropped in with AoD (Agents of Doom - Kilrogg). I am one of the only Holy Pally players still around and struggling. I have been hearing about all the changes coming and hoping I can finally HEAL more than I have from the last 2 xpacs without being a melee healer.

It was the healers fault that I got oneshot by avoidable mechanics.

Please, don't ever. EVER listen to a dps, especially if they've never healed and understand the frustration. The opinion they have holds little to ZERO value. Literally. They should just add healing spells to DPS and force them to help out, lets see how long this game survives haha :D

The competitive nature of it is what kills the fun. Sometimes competitive is fun, but who wants to be on the edge of their seat every time they do any content in wow? It's supposed to be an escape from stress. I enjoy being competitive, but I don't enjoy what it does to people who don't want their time wasted by people who aren't playing the meta, or who aren't very good. It fosters a toxic community, and addons that give you a score for your performance make that worse.

Great contact Jak. I think for the first time since Cata I'm going to main a healer in TWW. I enjoy holy pal and agree with a lot of your points. I'd like to see holy power removed from the entire class in general but builder/spenders as a healer feels pretty bad.

Not impressed at all. This still looks like a nerf, I mean up to 30% crit CHANCE is a joke of a replacement for what glimmers was, what is it for if you're criting meme heals anyway? IDK how you guys think this is any good for the class, looks to me like we're going to be even WORSE than before as soon as bugs are fixed. Better to delete this spec already.

They're not designing the game purely around mythic +, you have a multitude of difficulty ranges, and content types. This is the ultimate issue, they cannot design purely for M+. I honestly believe mythic + shouldn't be in the game, it's just toxic. But that's purely a personal feeling on it. I miss when heroics were the end goal, in dungeons and raids. I think M+ should have more avoidable light two shot mechanics, and reduced consistent damage spiking. Not so much of either to be ultra stressful, but enough to where you need to be paying attention when you know that kind of attack is coming so you can heal anyone who gets hit. You can't design for the top 1% because plenty of people struggle just with simple mechanics as it is.

Agreed, alts should be able to just jump into the action. The game is fun when alts are easy.

When do you think they went off the rails with paladin? Been main prot for a few years now, but I loved holy in bc.

in retail you just constantly rotate between using beacon, divine toll, and things like devo aura. you can double up on them if something really big is coming. no need to worry about sitting on anything unless you know a big event is coming that you need something for. also doing things like pre-emptivley blessing of protection on the melee dps so they can go wild on a big pull without worrying about aggro will make them love you

You think they should bring back old things like Holy Radiance? Maybe as a way to not funnel all your power into holy shocks. Idk, I dont main holy pally anymore, (Wotlk to MOP) but maybe it could be something to consider. It could give more consistent AOE healing. Maybe Holy Pally could even get their old mastery back.

Summer is the same crap as inquisition. Push button to make things hit harder or heal more, but that's it. Rather have more power baked into other abilities and just pretend it doesn't exist. It's bad design and just a button for the sake of a button.

it’s funny that summer in my opinion was the first bit of testing they ever did for how aug evoker works but they never went back and made it feel better. i feel like the damage that is being done with summer could literally just be shown as battle text and then will feel better instead of just on meters idk why but i really enjoy summers rotation, especially in raid. i know everyone else hates it tho

how do I get access to your tooltip version of awakening in the video, im playing beta right now and the awakening you showed is not the awakening we have as a talent ATM, care to explain or am I the one confused ? should read along the lines of each holy power spender gives you a stack... at 12 stacks your next judgment activates avenging wrath/ crusader for 8/6 seconds. You can't NOT have anyone in S tier when there is no healers better then the A tier ones.... That makes the A tier ones S tier. That's like ranking the healers in 1st, 2nd, 3rd etc.... And not having a 1st place pick. That makes the 2nd place pick the 1st place pick.

It's so weird to see blood dks take so much dmg. I had one in a m+ who was just impossible to heal on my hpal. He was at half health and LOH did nothing

What add on is being used for the big colored health bars located on the bottom of the screen in the dungeon? Would love to get it.

Removing glimmer/daybreak and having the rework focus more on burst healing/shielding, seems counterproductive to the healing issue you've been discussing. This rework feels like it's focusing on the current state of healing, which is worrying for the upcoming expansion. This is not a great indicator Blizz will change how healing will be in TWW.

Love to see holy priest in a pretty good place. Thanks for the work you put into this one. I still love playing resto druid in battlegrounds and arenas, though, in both retail and classic

This video is weird. You say holy paladin is so back in the title but then the video makes it seem like crap.

You know for that constant pulsing aoe damage you could take merciful auras instead of annoying Blessing of Summer :D I refuse to ever play Blessing of Summer I hate rotating buffs so much. Light smith is less annoying since it only rotates between two buffs, at least. But rotating buffs is a thing I'd want to see go. Just give me two spells. Paladin doesn't have a lot of key binds anyway.

Hey AutomaticJak, you have a huge community. Can I ask you to push an opinion forward? Totemic shaman could the totem as a pet, so reallocating healing rain could be an autocast ability. If the player disable autocast, the healing rain stay where it is, if activate autocast, it realocates. It could be used in 3 different ways: 1-no auto cast: player uses the totem and doesn't want to manage it. 2- auto cast: totem automatically realocates rain, as it is now. 3- manually indicates where you want the next cycle, as if you were a hunter and is asking your pet to move to the pointed position.
